What would I say?

Pull up your britches and RUN!!!!! - Jasmine Star

~~~~~
-Take more chances, sweetheart.
-You're stronger than you know.
-It gets so much better.
-You're smarter than you give yourself credit for.
-Be bold. You're worth it.
-Listen to everyone. Take the advice in. Then throw it out the window and trust your own instincts.
-When people tell you who they are, believe them.
-It is ok to fall down. You know how to pick yourself up.  Don't be scared.
-Pull up your britches and run honey!!! You're tough and you'll be just fine no matter what life throws at you.  Never worry otherwise.
~~~~~

I saw her walk in and I recognized her instantly.  She was the woman who proctored my tests in high school at the library.

I didn't say anything. I knew she probably wouldn't recognize me.

But it got me thinking.  If I could go back and talk to my 16 year old self, what would I say?

I Love That. || Senior Photos at The Ballpark In Arlington

I just love those little day to day moments that make life better. Like...

-being chilled and having a warm sweatshirt to come home to.

-That new song you hear on the radio that makes you smile and cry.

-Telling your friend you kind of feel like you've just jumped off a cliff and you're not sure what's at the bottom. And her going "Hopefully marshmallows." :)

-Reading a quote that makes you sigh and question yourself.
Risk more than others think is safe. Care more than others think is wise. Dream more than others think is practical. Expect more than others think is possible. -Cadet Maxim
-Having just as much fun on a Saturday night spent at home as one spent in downtown.

-Laughing with your whole body.

-A senior session that serendipitously turns from photographing around The Ballpark in Arlington to in The Ballpark in Arlington. :)

FYI-He is one of the best short stops I've ever seen.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Christmas 1995

Since this photo, my family has grown by 16 amazing people (at least I think, it's somewhere around there).  But as of this morning, we have have lost 3 people in this photo.  My aunt passed away last night.  She is the one in the middle with the white shirt and blonde hair, a beautiful photo of her smiling.  So for one last time, it's time for us to all gather around her again.  She fought a good, long, hard fight.  She gracefully finished the race.  And she always kept the faith.
